The Audi R8 is a sports car from Audi which has taken the world by storm. It achieved a great deal as a race car but it’s name is also used  for a road car which is also produced by Audi. The R8 race car won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2000,2001,2002,2004 and 2005. This is obviously a pretty impressive record! The road car has also been well recieved and has been praised for its handling picking up plenty of awards since its release in 2006.

So to think that you can own one of these amazing examples of motorsport engineering on the road for as… little… as £65,000 is pretty good. OK so it’s not pocket change but you are getting a brilliant car. The Audi R8 TDI Le Mans Concept is the first ever car to possess a ‘12-cylinder diesel engine in a high-performance road-going sports car’.  This R8 concept generates 500ps and 1,000 Nm of torque meaning any die hard Audi R8 fans will not be disappointed with this concept. It looks as vicious as ever, like it is capable of chewing up any road you put it on.
