Leasing Audi Cars

There are times when leasing a car will be a lot more beneficial than just buying the car outright. A lease is basically agreeing to the rental of the car for a set period, usually three years, at a fixed monthly price. The reason the lease option is very popular is because as soon as you drive a new car off the car lot the value has depreciated significantly, even if you changed your mind and took it back the next day you would not get back the price you paid for it twenty four hours earlier. With a lease you would simply hand the car back to the lease company at the end of your contract and the lease company will then have the job of selling on a car, which has depreciated in value since you bought the car, not yourself.

Now Audi apply a rule on their models that many of the other manufacturers do too. This rule is there is different costs for somebody looking for a business car compared to somebody who is looking for personal deals, presumably because of the opportunity of more than one vehicle being leased with a business. For example if you are looking at a Contract Hire Audi A1 from a business perspective then you may be able to pick one up starting from roughly £180.00 plus VAT, per month. If you compare this to looking at a Contract Hire Audi A1 for personal use then your costs will start at roughly £250.00 plus VAT, per month.

If you want a little more practicality, than the Audi A1, then maybe take a look at the Audi A1 Sportback. The five-door has a little extra interior space and rivals the likes of a MINI, the Citroen DS3 and the Alfa Romeo MiTo. The reason I suggest looking at a Contract Hire Audi A1 Sportback is because this model has fantastic resale value. So at the end of the of your lease you could potentially buy the model at a second hand cost, then use it for a certain amount of time and when you come to sell on the car you should not lose much of what you have paid.

One of the models that you will not find available on a lease is the Audi A2. This model, I felt, was perfect for a working parent who ferried their children to and from school because it had plenty of room in the back for, small children, but still had a professional, expensive look about it from the exterior. It also received a good crash safety rating too. You will only be able to get your hands on this model now as a Used Audi A2.

Now one of the models you can find on lease is the Audi A4. With prices starting from roughly £260.00 plus VAT, per month it is not a cheap option however it is a fantastic car. The A4 has been built to last so, even if you don’t think leasing is the perfect fit for you, you could pick up a Second Hand Audi A4 knowing you shouldn’t expect many problems with the car. The Audi A4 can be a little dull to drive compared to a BMW 3 Series however the top quality cabin makes this car fantastic for long-haul journeys.

Audi do have some fantastic leasing deals available across their models and if you do some research the perfect car for yourself should become blatantly obvious. If after looking at the lease deals available you still haven’t found a deal within your price range then I would suggest to take a look at used Audi cars for sale because you should be able to pick one up that is suitable for your needs and then you will actually own the car too.
